Primary Education

Primary Education is an educational stage of six years (age range 6 to 12). Students learn to live learning to know.

We promote a complete education based on Christian values. The student is provided with the necessary tools to face life from a social, emotional, intellectual and transcendental viewpoint.

During this time, like in pre-school education, the basic pedagogic principle is emotional o affective closeness. Students are orientated and supported by tutors during the development of their own skills and in the acquisition of social and behavioural habits. The school promotes a self-demanding attitude towards a qualified education. This is always going to be possible considering the individual development of each student offering them the necessary support.

These are some of our priority objectives:

  • Create a favourable atmosphere for working under a personal methodology that integrates habits and intellectual techniques and promotes effort, perseverance and discipline.
  • Educate their will and affectivity and at the same time strengthen the appropriate motivations in an atmosphere that is the continuation of the family environment.
  • Develop their intellectual skills to reach the basic knowledges for future studies.
  • School activities

The group of activities integrated in the curricular project and in the school calendar to reach these objectives is the following:

English.

The learning of this foreign language plays a fundamental role in the Primary Education and in the school. Working always and in all courses with small groups that do not exceed fifteen students.

German/French.

In Primary Education students choose a second foreign language when they reach the fifth year. They’re going to have two hours/week to learn the basic knowledges and they will continue learning in the stage of Secondary Education.

Science.

In the third year of Primary Education students have Science as a new subject. This extension of Natural and Social Sciences is taught in English and in reduced groups.

New technologies.

Our students learn how to use computers as a new and necessary working tool.
