Benefits of Chess
The chess club is an activity offered to 3rd year Secondary students after lunchtime on Wednesdays.
Practicing chess in one’s free time means that students improve many of their abilities and attitudes, which will be useful during their period of growing up and for their life’s development.
It is known that playing chess benefits: improving decision-making, helping concentration, stimulating creativity, training memory, helping to acquire self-responsibility in actions, teaching short, medium and long-term planning and promoting problem-solving skills.
